IPW RITM is run and managed by IPW PC Virtual System Administrator, a tool specifically designed for IT decision makers, Management Service Providers (MSPs), and other providers of IT services to business clients. The IPW PC Virtual System Administrator enables IT decision makers to manage multiple groups of PCs, install and configure systems, collect system status data, protect critical data and system resources, and provide value-added services for their customers.

The IPW PC Virtual System Administrator is a complete, integrated and extensible system. It redefines managed service provision through innovative delivery of remote desktop management. The IPW PC Virtual System Administrator consists of the IPW PC Agent and the IPW PC Server. The Server manages client services and maintains a database of client configurations.

The IPW PC Agent is a small, unobtrusive module residing on each managed client PC. It is responsible for communicating system information and status back to the server, and for executing tasks and delivering managed services as defined by the IT solution provider and the client company.

A single IPW PC Server manages the IPW PC Virtual System Administrator database and Web services, and provides all of the functionality and management facilities for the IT solution provider. Access all the features through a straightforward Web-based interface using any standard browser. The IPW PC Server easily and quickly installs on any standard Microsoft Windows 2000 Server running IIS web services.
